What Is Terror Island?
Terror Island is a special Lizards game which features a customised map and some special rules. This alternative version of the game is best-suited to players who have played Lizards before, although new players can join if you feel confident!

Differences In Play
The three primary differences in play in Terror Island versus a normal Lizards game are the startups, the map and the 'special moves'. The map is a customised map in which all players are based on two horrible island land masses, littered with volcanoes and cursed hexes and surrounded on all sides by water. All players begin the game with the same startup featuring a black home den with 300 Black Warriors in it and not much else. All players begin the game with three 'special moves' that they can play any time simply by instructing the GM. These moves all do any one of the following when you use them;
1/ Fill any home den you control at the start of a turn up to 300 Black Lizards.
2/ Create a force or 100 Black Lizards in any empty hex you control
3/ Turn any hex you control into a Black Den.

What Does It Cost?
The full Terror Island special game costs £15.00. Victory points in Terror Island for the purpose of the hall of fame are rather better than those in a standard game, as follows:-
1st Place - 8 Points
2nd Place - 6 Points
3rd Place - 4 Points
4th Place - 3 Points
All other survivors - 2 Points
Although unlike other 'normal' games, no points are deducted for non-participants when this special game ends.

Speed Of Play
Terror Island has a slightly quicker turnaround than a normal Lizards game, with turns running roughly every five days.
