About NVE Turn Viewer
The DungeonWorld Turn Viewer is a cool little client program that allows you to play your game positions in a different way, though a computer program instead of printed PDF documents.
The turn viewer is still being tested and improved and so its use is entirely at your own risk. You will need a reasonably powerful PC with Windows XP to run it (1000 Mhz Processor minimum, 512MB Ram, 128MB Graphics Card are recommended.) The program runs in 1024 x 768 resolution and requires a live internet connection to get the best out of it. If you are running a firewall, or overzealous antivirus software, you may need to configure your settings to allow the NVE Program to connect to our server.
The turn viewer has a number of advantages over PDF play. You get a cool full-colour map. All your characters share their maps and the program keeps the mapping information for the entire game world as you explore. The program builds up a database of items, monsters, terrain the like as you explore, which you can edit and search.
The program allows you to build your orders as a file to email to us, or to connect directly with our server and submit them immediately.
There are many other tools and gimmicks in the NVE to make your life easier and the game simpler to enjoy.
If you want to use the NVE editor you need to email your GM and say so, in order that we can switch your method of play so that you receive NVE files automatically each turn.

But remember, you will not be able to use it until you have some turns to view. Its useless without turns to view, so remember to let us know you'd like to switch to this style of play after you download the program.
