Official Guilds
This is the list of official DungeonWorld guilds and
their current status. Remember, as well as official
guilds there are any number of unofficial ones, groups
of people who band together for one cause or another
but choose not to go the full route to official status.
These are often also a lot of fun and should one seem
to suit you, don't feel that an "official"
guild will necessarily be better.
Explanations Of Terms Used Below:-
Status shows if a guild is active in the game at this
time; Active, Low Activity or No New Members.
Loyalty To Crown: Shows if the guild states that it
is loyal or neutral to the Crown. Guilds do not state
that they are disloyal as that would bring the Crown's
justice down up them, so Neutral can really mean neutral,
or can hide a darker meaning.
Guild Type: If a guild is exclusive then it does not
allow member characters to join other guilds.
Next Upgrade: Guilds get periodic upgrades in the game
by the GMs; new items and other stuff. If the upgrade
says Pending then one will be forthcoming very soon.
If it says "on hold" then the guild are failing
to meet one of the specifications of the guild rules
and must do so before they can get an ungrade. This
may be low activity, incorrect leader status, or lack
of a Cauldron entry for the guild.
Crown Rating: This is how the public perceive the crown's
attitude to the guild. (It is NOT a crown statement.)
Guild Influence: This is how influential the guild is
deemed to be in the Kingdom of Bereny's echelons of
power at this time.
Guild Power: This is how powerful a guild is deemed
to be by the general public and other guilds.
