Destiny Star Marines Missions

Play in the Destiny Star Marines positions is less 'open'. Since all players are soldiers in the E.C.G. Marine Corps, they are not free to simply do as they will, but are posted onto missions deemed important to the E.C.G. New players will be posted to whatever mission is currently available. Soldiers who survive a mission will then be offered the option to move on to a new mission and continue their military career. A Star Marine can 'buy' their way out of the Corps at the end of any mission, and then rejoin life in the hectic hustle and bustle of the galaxy with normal Destiny positions. Employment doesn't tend to be hard to find.

The first mission available is Shatterzone.
A run-down military space station owned by the E.C.G. in a remote corner of a remote solar system recently stopped transmitting after a burst of panicked distress signals. Something hostile seems to now be in control of the station and the marines are being sent in to liberate it. A lot of sterling is being spent by the E.C.G. to regain control of what is, basically, an old tattered and barely servicable station. A cynic would have to wonder what is on board to elicit such a heavy response?
