There are, they say, two sides to every coin.
Perhaps the common folk think that all that lives beneath the earth
is evil, but of course that is not the case. In truth, the ground hides
light and darkness in equal measures. Although, in some cases, its not
always easy to tell the difference...
Deepfolk; The commoner human's who choose to live in the darkness!
Royal Militia; the Crown's new initiative to bring order to the underworld.
Dwarves; the traditional allies of Man.
Dusk Elves; the good counterparts to their Midnight brothers.
Gnomes; the smallfolk with the big hearts.
Fae; the underground humanoid faerie-kin.
Wolfen; man-wolves with a thirst for blood.
Darkwalkers; the traditional outlaw humans in a new guise.
Heroic Monster Positions are small-scale clans, at odds with the evil
monsters of the underworld, forging pacts and alliances as they protect
their peoples and their heritage. Monster positions will appeal to people
who like to manage careful finances. They do not have immediate action
or immediate contact with each other, although it won't be long until
your excavations and explorations begin to reveal other monster players.
Initially, monsters have to mine and build and tunnel, carving out their
own territory and strengthening their members. Take your place in the
underworld and strike a blow against the evil that lurks below!
It should be noted that although these positions are all considered
'Heroic' they are not all on the same side. Deepfolk, Royal Militia,
Dwarves, Dusk Elves and Gnomes are all considered 'good' in the same
way adventurers are. However, FaeWolfen and Darkwalkers are more difficult
positions to play, since they are enemies of everybody!
Costs:- There is no setup fee for a Heroic Monster Position. However,
